Making taxonomies useful requires that the centralized taxonomy management system be integrated with other IT components, including search, semantic search, facetted navigation, automatic or machine-aided indexing, content management and meta-tagging.

The Synaptica development team is pleased to announce our SharePoint Integration add-on module to allow controlled vocabularies being managed within Synaptica to be applied as meta-tags to content being stored in SharePoint document libraries, as well as allowing those same vocabularies to be used for search.
